This depicts a red ruffed lemur that is enthralled and afraid of a flaming leaf. For my process, I first researched the anatomy and colours of the animal. Then I began the paper sketch, expanding it onto Procreate and establishing the general composition and lineart. After the lines were good enough, I coloured the lemur and the background, finding the correct shape for the heat waves. Then, my favourite part, the shading. This pulled the piece together and made it what it is. Thank you for allowing me to take part in this show, it means so much to me.
