Ella

I was inspired by my cat because I think she's so funny and my favorite pet. I wanted to make her out of clay in an almost life-size model because I'm new to clay and I thought this would be fun to do. My process was taking careful exact measurements of my cat, building the clay together, scraping things away, measuring again, detailing and texturing it, putting it in the kiln, then finally painting it. This was overall a very fun project and I'm so glad I made it. Getting all the measurements and taking pictures of my cat as difficult at first, but once I got them, it was so cool and fun.
